There are certain shows that are aimed precisely at the theatre lovers who revel in the inside jokes known only to that small percentage of the country that actually watches the Tony awards. This show, which originated at Off Broadway's Vineyard Theater, is such a show.
The conceit is that the show is entirely self-referential - it's about the process of making the show, from concept to opening night to the performance that you're watching at the moment. A very good buy for folks who enjoyed Avenue Q, or those who laugh at the thought of murdering a moose. (?)
